7 Steps to a Business You Love

Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Are you facing a challenging situation at work, but don’t know what to do? Have you reached the breaking point where you’re so tired, frustrated and stressed out that you need to make a decision now?

We all face challenging situations in the workplace – whether it’s conflict with a co-worker, dealing with an abusive boss, being pushed into a position or doing tasks you don’t want to do, or feeling conflicted over corporate decisions and ethics.

But despite the negative effects on our health and happiness, there are many reasons we stay. The money is good. We have families to support. We are lucky to have a job in this economy. It might get better. It’s too scary to do anything else.

We can go on this way for a long time, but for many of us it eventually reaches a breaking point where we need to better the situation – or leave. But when you’re in the middle of a painful and challenging workplace situation, it’s hard to really know what decision to make. Especially when you’re faced with other people’s (or society’s) expectations of what you “should” do.

Get the Clarity You Need to Choose Your Right Next Step

This four session mini-coaching program is specifically designed to help you gain clarity and insight into a difficult situation at work. You will connect with who you really are and what you truly desire in order to make that difficult but soul-freeing decision to either create a new path to getting what you need in your current workplace – or somewhere else. By the end of this program, you will know:

  • What the real issue is at work that is causing you pain, frustration or stress
  • The limiting beliefs, patterns, and painful thoughts that have caused you to get stuck in this situation
  • Your potential options and what your essential self really wants to do
  • What some realistic next steps might be to move you in your new direction

Coaching Sessions:

Step 1: Who Are You, Really?

In this first session, we’ll connect to who you are, and really uncover your unique flow and genius – aka – what you really want and how you work best. This will give us the clues & insight we need for our next steps.

Step 2: The Problem

Now it’s time to dive right into figuring out what the real issue is at your workplace. Is it your boss? Your co-workers? Your position? Your career direction? Work environment? Company ethics? Structure? Recognition? Career pathing?

Step 3: What’s Keeping You Stuck?

Next, we will work on identifying and dissolving any limiting beliefs or patterns that either caused you to get into this situation in the first place, or are keeping you stuck.

Step 4: Clarity & Your Right Next Steps

This step is all about dreaming and scheming your options and using a tool called the body compass to discover what your essential self really wants to do, and then outlining a plan that feels realistic, easy and fun for you to turtle step your way into making your decision a reality.

Why Work With Me?

As a Martha Beck trained Life Coach, Certified Koelle Institute Equus Coach & Endorsed Soul’s Calling Coach, I combine life & career coaching to help you rediscover who you are and then connect who you are to a career you love.

After 20 years as a corporate recruiter and marketing executive, and then business owner, I have lived the mid-career meltdown – more than once. Through my own journey to “fix” first my career & then my business, I discovered that my soul’s calling is helping others connect with who they really are in order to love what they do again. I know it’s possible because I’ve done it, and I’ve helped others discover careers and lives that they love. Read my story here.
